You do not need this game. if you haven't good 7.1 headphones.
It's not about solo play.
But agree on the good headset part. The entire game is about sound and spotting other players by noises.
And OP there are some Singleplayer game modes like the challenges and the practice freeroam. Kinda boring but you can get a feeling how the game runs and feels.
Not true! Almost 1000 hour Solo player here! Love the game and the people I've met playing it :)) It's got a rough learning curve, but it has some rewarding game play in my opinion,
