Camping players
Me and my friends always run into people who camp for 30 minutes straight or camp exits for ungodly amounts of times. Does anyone else encounter this often too? It really makes me want to quit the game and in fact I will stop playing until it is fixed. The new bug thing that is coming wont fix exit campers and such so that wont do it at all for me and the bois.

How do you know they are camping for 30 minutes? Do you also camp nearby and watch them for 30 minutes so that you can confirm THEY are camping?

gonna say, you aren't going to know how long they have been camping there. It could have been just long enough.

Camping is just one of those things that happen and the easiest way the devs could prevent it is dynamic shifts in the game, but that just comes with too many problems. So they leave it alone.

I think extraction points should be evenly set in such a way that there is equal distancing of the points. Perhaps 4 total. Not just 3

The next problem is camping is a two way street. It is sometimes VERY necessary to ambush a player because they are ARMED with shotguns and traps. Which means when they reach the boss lair . They can sit on the bounty until the clock nearly runs out. Which means they are forcing the hand of players to enter. So camping in the woods becomes necessary.

I personally PREFER to ambush players if I can, outside of a lair. Because for the purposes of storming a compound or a lair. It becomes the problem of DARK SIGHT which created camping in the first place.

So in essence, dark sight needs to be done away with, and that the game NEEDS to create a huge risk for taking the bounty. Otherwise people have to CAMP or Bush wookie.
I know because me and my buddy sit in the house wondering where the 2 people with snipers sit that wont let us leave the damn thing. If you dont have the right weapon you can either sit it out and hope they try something or pray to god and run. Aint gonna outsnipe them with my shotgun or pistol
Well but that's camping too. Unfortunately, just like you dont want to try to outrun snipers when you are carrying shotguns, they dont want to rush you at close range with their rifles against your shotguns.
I dont think people get what I mean. We push whenever we can but you always gotta look at the risk. I just see so many people with snipers in my games doing nothing but either trapping you in a house or just sniping at an exit. I usually dont play snipers because I love to rahter push so this is a problem for me. I´d just like things to change in a way where people who won´t move a muscle until the other players make the "Stupid" move to try and push or run away get punished properly for doing so. It takes away all my personal fun when I am sitting around doing nothing because I didnt pack a sniper this round to defend myself against that. And the exit campers are even worse sometimes cause they´ll not be heard or seen until you think its all clear and then boom headshot from 130 meters away. I just dont think thats a healthy way to play the game for anyone. I also dont think it would be too hard to change that but for some reason it seems to get supported with even more hard to see hunters being released almost monthly.
I see games where 4 trios are all looking at the next team to the left who aren't moving.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ campers... let's just see how long it is before they move... meanwhile a ways further right another team are looking at them...
The game is about silence and patience. But shotgun players will never understand this. The campers are the good guys in this game.

Well it's 2022 so looks like nothings changed.
In my 80hrs of play I have only ever encountered one squad camping and they got destroyed by a crossbow in close quarters
I had a squad today, kill the bounty, then not pick up the bounty token FOR 35 minutes.
that sat in a separate building than the one the boss was in, and camped and camped and camped until 5 minutes left, when they finally decided they'd have to come out of the house and face me to live.
they did not.

the new bug is going to do NOTHING to change this, just make it easier for them to see where exactly i am while i'm circling and baiting trying to get their no-skilled asses out.

there is a signifigant camping problem, but most people don't understand it, and odly, it seems even the devs are not really understanding the root of it all.

If you are in a castle, and your castle is surrounded by enemies, and they have no way to reach you inside your castle? why leave your castle?
The base problem is not, "long ammo camping outside of bosses" because that's literally their objective.
The base problem is that, when there is a team in the compound, they have no motivation or reason to leave until the teams outside dwindle each other down.

can't blame them so much either, other than the fact that they are not completing the objective, it makes complete tactical sense, it just doesn't make for exciting gameplay.
there needs to be some sort of timer or something put on the bounty, 10 minutes and it kills you, something to PRESSURE the people with the objective, to actually complete the objective.

I don't know how a flying camera is going to fix this when it's a fundamental gameplay feature as it stands now.
Ho, I haven't seen exit camps in months. Sounds like jackpot.

I like the oldschool way from 1 year ago. Better than all this pumpguns. They can start a fire 10Minutes before the end in the compound to make the shooties move. Like battle royal only the opposit way. Let´s say a running royal.
I mentioned several times the solution to the camping problem is to have the bounties spawn in random locations in the map after the boss is banished ... and the teams will have to pick a couple of clues randomly located, to find them, after the boss is banished.

It's a bit more work. Of course, yes.

But it will end the standoffs in lairs completely, since there's no incentive to keep defending the lair once the boss is dead.

This would also solve the problem of bosses getting killed 1 minute 20 seconds in the round on the opposite diagonal point on the map.

But no, let's add a player controlled UAV to solve camping, and let it block extraction and carry Sticky Bombs. That will surely solve the camping issue for good.
