Crosshair not centered is KILLING ME !!! (optional pls? pls?!)

AT LEAST MAKE IT OPTIONAL IN THE OPTIONS!!!

The game has so much potential and they waste it by moving the crosshair (beside poor performance and desync and other issues).
After 700 hours i'm still not used to it and never will be. When you play other games that does have a normal crosshair IN THE CENTER WHERE IT BELONGS, then it messes everything up when you also play a game which crosshair IS NOT CENTERED!!!

(In addition camera is in the chest so you have to AIM EVEN HIGHER.
To punch a zombie i nearly have to look INTO THE AIR lol.

If it bothers you play Hunter mode? You wont see it as often, and gunslinger is ez mode for claw handed console plebs anyway ;)

Does hunter mode make the crosshair centered?

no but you jst need to aim like most fps, meaning that you always are ready to hip fire and the crossair always visible

I love how players who have been playing shooters for all their life have to adapt and readjust to become good at playing Hunt: Showdown, specifically. For me, it's better this way than having someone who has 10,000 hours in CS:GO, download Hunt: Showdown and wipe out the server instantly because he's gaming, FPS god, who never misses his shots.

If you want to get good at Hunt: Showdown, then time to grind and put in the hours into the game like ALL of us have to do.

they udea of makink optional is good, but I'm afraid that they would need to do a complete redesighn of the game, from the crossair to the fov options even how the skins interact ecc... may as well start the game from stratch, but I'm pretty sure that this won't happen unless they manage to update the cryengine to a point that it can be almost as good as the new unreal engine

Well, in 1200 hours I didn't notice the crosshair was not centered. Maybe it's because I play in hunter mod and almost never use it... Except when its close combat "messy" shotgun time...

I think that's what makes the difference. When I first saw a post about off center crosshairs I went back through gameplay recordings I had and it took a while to actually find some where a crosshair would show up.

It is really noticeable if you are looking for it. I was pretty surprised at how far off it is, but I still never would've found out if it wasn't for threads like these.

its completely fine. i play a ton of different FPS's (Hunt. COD. Valorant, D2) and its a non issue. honestly i prefer the lower crosshair, as it allows more visibility of surroundings

There are so many games with centered crosshair... just go play them and leave hunt. Its good the way it is.

What is "old" for you? I played Modern Warfare back in 2007 on a professional level and last cod i played was cold war in 2021. I was still in Top 0.8% world wide according to cod tracker :D

I started playng online fps with UT99 with a 3dfx vood0 3 3000, it's start to get difficult to go older than that, also played all the old valve fps but didn't enjoye them as much (exeption made for dod)
