Question about event exclusive weapons

It is clear that you can only unlock them during the event. But I am asking myself if I can still use them (and buy them with hunt money) when the event is over (and I had unlocked them in time), or if they will be locked, again, until that event happens another time?

From my understanding, weapons and variants that you get through events eventually go into the normal unlock rotation after the event, meaning when it's over you can't just buy them immediately after prestiging.

It is slightly unclear, at the very least, you will keep them until you prestige after the event (if you prestige during the event they stay unlocked). You might keep them anyway even after a prestige, but that isn't assured.

Otherwise, anyone that does not unlock them, and if you lose access to them when you prestige after the event will just have to wait a few weeks until they patch them into the unlock trees as they said they would. They did not give an exact date for the patch that would add them permanently to the game, but they hoped it would only take them a couple weeks at the most. Which means anytime between the moment the event ends and a couple months.

Am I right that if I will prestige some day, that I will have to do all the grind of unlocking items like the stun grenade, the strong antidot, the strong knive and weapons from the beginning, AGAIN?

Yes, you have to unlock everything again.

Event stuff will stay, you just need x lvl or x xp to unlock it in the shop.
Maybe they give event guns free for, thats not clear.
Ammo for those guns will be locked 100%

Oh boy, that sucks a lot. It is already enough annoyance to unlock that stuff for the first time. I have had matches, where I did nothing than spawning in, evading any player contact purely for the purpose of unlocking items, throwing stuff around me, only to get xp's for that and leave after 10-15mins.

After all, that stuff isn't free and if I would play in a normal way, I would run the risk of not getting any xp from all that expensive stuff, because I get one shoted, as soon as an enemy encounters me, additionally to loosing all said stuff and having to buy it again...

All of that is acceptable if you have to do it ONCE. But multiple times? Hell no!
Looks like I will stay on prestige 0 for the rest of my life. That's okay, I don't really need those skins.
