>Check in nvidia control panel you are using your 1060 and not the integrated gpu
>Make sure you have the batery ussage in power mode/gaming mode (whatever is called, but uncheck batery saving options)
>It is obvious too, but make sure your drivers are up to date
>Make sure you dont have garbage running on the background
>Buy a laptop cooler pad, seriously, they are cheap and can lower your laptop heat A LOT. 15-30 euros and you get a nice one. Must-have if you are gaming on a laptop, and your problem seems like some kind of overheating at first hand. Remember you can check temps using some programs like RivaTurner
>Unpark the cores of your CPU
>Put the gpu usage to 90%, lower all your settings to low minus object quality (leave this in medium). Render can go down to 90ish, but no more, game becomes crappy.
>Make sure to have the AA you like more/find less blurry. Probably either off and applying it in nvidia panel using sharpening (this can give you in some cases more fps) or SMAA 1X as 1TX and 2TX makes the game blurry and lower your fps (but hey, if you like it somehow and doesnt give you problems, whatever, go for it)
