I swing a melee when i click shift... Why? Help?

Out of nowhere now when i click Shift to sprint it starts doing melee attacks.. With weapon or Knife... Can someone Help me

Go into your keybindings and either reset it to default or find what is bound to what and fix it.

i had this issue for me it was because i had my controller plugged in while trying to play on keyboard and mouse

thank you! this was killing me (literally) and unplugging my controller sorted it

Yes! Confirmed. Plugged in Controller does weird things. Always unplug before playing.
