Berthier Spitzer bullets
first of all, does anyone think they're worth using? it only improves 13m in distance, muzzle velocity and penetration...which don't make much difference in gameplay in my opinion, the problem is to pay 220(440 to use the 15 bullets) to do 111 damage, should be cheaper or at least 125 damage (or are they thinking it's OP you can switch between ammo ?)seriously this 111 damage doesn't make any sense,if it was cheaper it would make more sense.

Spitzer is basically sniper ammo, made for distances when more velocity than the ~600m/s of normal long ammo matters, when you need addional penetration on distance and only a headshot does meaningful damage anyway.

Atm the Berthier doesn't have any scoped variations, but that will change sooner or later for sure.

another thing i remembered i need bulletgrubber to reload without losing ammo.....but without perk changing ammo is not a problem xd

You pay for Spitzers cause you get more Muzzle Velocity... and that makes hitting sprinting Enemys way,way easier...
Just aim at the Shoulder... and the Bullet hits Center Body ... this practically works on most not extreme Distances

One could say it like that, the faster the Bullet, the higher is the tolerance for aiming Errors, it gets much easier to hit someone with fast Bullets, and when you hit way more often,it doesnt matter that the Damage per shot is lower. Thats why they are so expensive.

For Berthier its not worth it cause it has no Scope and on no-scope Ranges the normal Bullets are fast enough... but its a good Choice for Lebel Marksman when you really wanna snipe... Like from a Tower or Hill over several Compounds.. 200-300 Meter Range...

now that i see the spitzer bullets from the other rifles, they also don't do much damage, my bad, i started playing again these days, but you still need to pay 440 to get the 15 bullets.

For all other Guns i always would take the High Velocity Ammo.
It makes learning to really aim so much easier... cause you get repeatable results when your Weapons stay in the same Velocity Range...
For example High Velocity Pistol Ammo is around 520 Meters, The Sparks is 533, The Obrez is 550,Mosin /Lebel/Berthier like 600-630, Centenial 600, Vetterli with HV 610 m...
Those Velocity are all equal enough that even when your Lead isnt perfect you still will hit an Arm or so....

But when you play with a 280 Meter Weapon in 1 Game, and a 600 Meter Weapon in the next, you never will learn to aim properly and hit a moving running Target
