I remember earlier in the game cycle there being a healthy dose of union and confederate soldier/veteran hunters starting at tier 2 but now I only see union; what happened to the confederates?

if you look at where the the bajou is.. i think there is a reason why they are there, the region, even today are still waving their banners, so it is possible that a human scumbag killing others for profit would wear the uniform a couple of years after the war

Roleplay reasons? Immersion? There are enough games which let you play as the bad guy. There are games where you can do undeniably evil things, doesn't mean the player actually wants to be the person they play in the game or supports their ideology.

And the South who only had the Agrarculture and Cotton farming it would be economy suicide to remove the Slaves... even if they would wanted they could not farm the land alone and everyone would go poor and Hungry....
Thats why they went to war.... not cause they want to keep black People unhappy or something....

The exploitation of the poor is almost as bad, basically defacto slavery, but not the same as robbing one minority of all rights because of skin color.
Please don't defend slavery and don't make this discussion about politics. Just because one side also did bad things doesn't make it ok that the other side did bad things.
If it was the economic foundation of the country then it was founded on the wrong thing, just because it is good for the economy doesn't make it ok to exploit the poor or whole ethnicities. We just can't rob other people of their labor and ressources so we can live in relative wealth... even for survival its not ok to hurt and exploit other people! Thats all what was wrong about colonisation and imperialism...

Dont know what you are on about with the US schools, because i was never in a US school or in the US in general.

Sure for the simple soldier it was more about economical survival, but the Hunters in the game are not actual persons... they are just polygons and textures in a game and when they wear the confederate uniform in then they represent the confederacy and its politics in a way. That doesn't mean that the players who choose to play as that skin or the developers support the politics of the confederacy, goes the same way for the union uniform, you don't need to support child exploitation to play a hunter with the uniform.... My point is you can choose skin for reasons completely detached from the actual politics these soldiers fought for in the real world, thats why i see absolutely no reason why we should discuss about politics in a forum about a game which has nothing to do with politics.
