I might also say that Calwdell Conversion is the best one, having higher accuracy and pretty good spare amount of ammo, only downside is relatively smaller drum of only 6 shots (Compared to Nagant with 7, LeMat with 9 and Chain Pistol with 15)
It's pretty cheap and has access to fullmetal jacket which increases the penetration of otherwise weak Compact Ammo
Silenced nagant for the added PVE utility (but worse in pve)
Most precise/useful: Basic Conversion, Schofield Swift (maybe silent nagant too)
Most fun: Uppercut and LeMat
So I prefer chain conversion for fanning. With that many ammo, chances of hitting at least 2 times increases drasticly. Besides that, its an excellent supress fire gun. People under chain fanning fire panic really hard. As a bonus, you get best option for clutching. Regular revolvers will be mostly empty after 1 kill. Chain pistol provies you an opportunity to keep fighting. Also, its a good gun to spam through wall with fmj. You just start firing and move your mouse horizontally untill you hear "OUGH". Then a few shots around that area and its a kill.
Basicly, chain corversion fanning is too versatile compared to the other options.
2. LeMat Mark 2 Revolver
3. Caldwell Conversion Uppercut with Explosive Ammo (very funny)
They both buck a bit harder for recoil when fanning but they are plenty worth it to me
