Hunt looks Washed out: Color management profiles
It seems Hunt ignores color management profiles?

When i load up hunt the screen gets way to bright and washed out even with the gamma turned all the way down. I believe it is ignoring my ICC color management profile. It looks TERRIBLE
However whenever i tab out the color fixes itself and looks fine. as soon as i tab back in it looks all washed out and crappy again.

Does anyone have a fix?

P.S. its definitely the color management profile. I got rid of the profile and hunt doesn't do any weird brightness shifting when i tab in and out but it still looks like crap. The color management profile makes everything on my monitor look SOOOO much better. But its super inconvenient to turn it off and then readjust my screen contrast and gamma every time i play hunt. The super weird thing is hunt is the only game i have that ignores the profile

Nvidia filters and I assume other similar software were disabled for Hunt some time ago because people kept whining on these forums about people making night maps brighter and so on, giving them an advantage over people who didn't use them.

This of course effected people who only used color corrections and stuff only to enhance the visuals.

Dafuq. I come back after an extended absence and not the game is basically unplayable unless i calibrate my entire display around hunt. WT ACTUAL F.

Does anyone know if Color Profile Keeper will work???

Can use reshade still, its now the only way to implement a colourblindness filter on the game because crytek doesn't care about people with accessibility issues (i raised it with support years ago)..
How do you do this? I'm color blind.

Use a program called "VibranceGUI".
  1. Download the program and place it wherever you want.
  2. Run the program while running Hunt and click on "add" and search for hunt
  3. After you added it double click "HuntGame" and change the % of vibrance level to your liking.

I don't recommend reshade because it can get you banned. I wouldn't risk it.
