Game was much better pre 1.0, alot
of things have been fixed and thats great and all but I will never understand why the weapon sway was practically removed and then reimplemented at a later date but nothing even near what it used to be.. the weapon sway made actual long distance combat exhilarating? Now gun fights last 15 seconds and youre one tapped by the Karabiner and its just a gg. Now if im missing a small bar I dont even wanna engage in long range fights because I will get lasered by any gun... its not impressive or rewarding anymore.
I don't know why muliplayer games these days feel the need to change/add stuff that completely alters or goes against the original vision. Sure, it might peak interest for a little while but that will soon die down. Seems an endless and potentially damaging cycle, which is already evident as I know many moved on around the time of official release because of those reasons.
There's little skill required now. Its largely run and gun spam or easy body shots.
I'm total bounty ~300K, prestige 8, KDA 1.2.
And yes of course he killed me. :)
1. "not enough players"
2. "bad advertising when streamers have to wait to get a match"
3. "There' to many players"
4."there never was any to begin with"
Pick one
Can I pick an option where I don't get matched in with a prestige rank 23 when i'm just barely approaching prestige 2? Thanks.
2. No advertiseing at all you mean, streamers are one thing. but they only cover a very small number of gamers. I have alot of friends that watch steams all the time and they never heard of hunt till i mentioned it to them. Crytec, put some of that DLC money into actual advertiseing. its simple business 101.
3. Lol actually made me laugh on that one
4. now this one, this is the one right here.
Plain and simple, Crytek likes this current system because it enables their high ranking players who are more likely to buy the DLC they release. Which is really about the only thing Crytek releases for this game these days.
Not to mention, matchmaking aside, it's apparent that Crytek also enables cheaters. Why else would Crytek allow players profiles to remain hidden in game so someone cannot report a player they suspect of cheating, to Steam.
All in all, this game will never gain serious traction with all these problems. If I didn't purchase it in Alpha and I bought it today, I definitely would have returned it.
if the game have was harder no kids want play it :(
