Can't Start Hunt, Any help greatly appreciated!
Hunt was working fine, then as of Friday, Booting Hunt, once the anti-cheat screen had finished, would cause my screens to go black and system to crash.
I have up graded, and clean installed my graphic drivers, updated my bois, Reinstalled Hunt on 3 different drives, white listed hunt and the anti cheat still nothing. After the last Hunt install, the anti-cheat software claims it can't find a DLL file despite it clearly sitting in the folder where is was looking. See the following.... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0q5zxxvarggkak3/AABMCkfeOdqregdeuilNydxJa?dl=0

Any fresh ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Delete the EAC folder in the Hunt Showdown Directory then right click on the game in your Steam library goto Properties, Local files and verify game files, this will check for missing or corrupt files and replace. once it's finished checking and replaced any files then run game.

Give this a try and let us know if it helps

After a recent rebuild hunt was crashing and hard resetting my system. Some event log clues and google searches later and I was directed to a bios update for my new X570 board, something I should have done immediately on building but I got lazy. After the bios update its been perfect ever since. Something simple to try if you run into a dead end troubleshooting.

are you using avast? has been known to cause issues with Hunt. Also turn off any overclocks that you may have

Many thanks for the responses. I think it must be a windows update issue. I've reinstalled, deleted EAC then verified and updated the bios and drivers. I've run SFC scan from the command line still nothing. I am perplexed.

have you tried reinstalling windows from scratch? Not the best solution and may not fix the issue so I understand not wanting to try it
