or reconnect you form edge of map?...use that tiny brain and think give a idea to how to reconnect in hunt during a match and ongoing fight then come in forums and cry a river. this topic and the topic of killcam are both the most horrible topics ever cuz ppl compare hunt to R6 , fortnight , COD , bfv and many others.
Not everyone want to abuse anything, chill.
The reconnect is about REJOIN the match if you dc. Nothing more. Your character stay in the map, if it was in the mid of a gunfight, pray to not be spotted. Whatelse, don't brag around about others intentions, such a bad manners.
Disconnected? You dead mate. But you still can reconnect and your teammate can try to revive you. How would you abuse this? Leaving when things get hot, waiting for your teammate to retreat and then returns to revive you after enemies leaving? It's quite stupid, isn't it?

Uhm, no, the game can have a reconnect feature absolutely fine like other survival/hardcore shooters (DayZ, Rust) do. When you disconnect, your character simply stays in the world until you cancel the session, reconnect to the server, or (potentially) a certain amount of time passes. In the meanwhile, your character is in the game same as if you were controlling it, and can be killed by players or (potentially) AI. There is basically zero way to abuse this, and in fact, in terms of preserving KDA at least, it would in fact be a liability, not an abusable mechanic.
- upon connection issues, a message is shown to tell the player to check their connection. This is important as it may not be obvious what is wrong.
- your hunter is stationary (crouched) and visible on the map, can be hurt, killed by other hunters or mobs as normal
- reconnect time window is until the match ends or until the possibility of you being revived ends, whichever is earlier
- while disconnected, being downed will count as a death
- if reconnect has no way of succeeding (match has ended, cannot be revived), count as a death
why do people always think a reconnect feature will be exploitable in any way? I've seen this stupid take way more times than I can remember.
DCing would be LESS advantageous than going afk and I can't think of many ways that going afk is OP and exploitable in Hunt.
