How do the legendary hunters work? Do you lose them when they die?

Title. I don't want to buy them again and again. Or can you roll them? And if you can, how much do they cost to buy (Hunter Bucks)?

I know you don't have to buy them over and over again once you've bought them once.

They work like legendary gear, you buy them once for bonds then after you can buy them for dollars. You lose them with they die but you don't have to rebuy with bonds

you dont lose them. if they die you only lose the character but you can always buy them for in-game coin. all legendary hunters cost 333 hunter coins.

They cost 200 hunt dollars if you die with them. You can permanently buy them for 200 hunt dollars if you buy any DLC or whatever character with blood bonds.

Lost weapons have to be re bought.
You need to unlock the weapon to use it's skin, but the skin is permanent once bought
