I think what devs just wasting their time with PvP, just because they cant create normal PvP gameplay (bad matchmaking, horrible servers and etc), and even lose their opportunity to make game popular with PvE mode.
And do not tell me what your PvE mode just means the same Bounty Hunt mode, but without players. PvE mode must be different. As example like Left 4 Dead or Monster Hunter.
I even will be glad if they can create another version of Hunt as FPS shooter with real weapons, real physics, real gore, dark nights and with many bosses and monsters. I see it as hunting on monsters, where you can see tracks of boss. Boss must be really smart and can hide in different houses and even compounds. Here even can be PvP mode with should be hardcore as hell and must be like survival game.
With a good PvE mode Hunt can get casual players, which can buy skins, DLCs, Blood Bonds and etc, so Crytek can have more money for a new content and better servers. This means what they can fix PvP modes. Casual players after PvE mode can try PvP mode and online will be better. And this is the reason why I cant understand why Hunt community do not want to see a PvE mode. You all here just losing opportunity to make game better and popular.
Because its not a PvE game? Why waste resources and devtime and splitting the base even more. I even started maxing this game just because its a PvP game with a minor PvE objective to make PvP more pushed.
Maybe they already do not have resources because their PvP game is unpopular? Casual players already do not want to play in it, so it's already splitted. I can say more, this players, who deleted their game, now investing their money in other games, so devs of this games can create more content. As I said, you all here just losing opportunity to make game better and popular.
there's zero threat when that happens and it's rather boring. many players hit a money threshold and just look to kill players too. when you have 10k$ there's zero reason to fk around in the map for money outside of thats where the kills are
it's a PVPve game and the E only serves as a gathering place for the pvp to happen
The game has double in player base (concurrent players) in the last 5 months... the game is plenty popular lol
that's just on steam, too.
Actually it have reasons: Blood Bonds and Prestige (skins).
You can believe in it as long as you can. But you should read description of Hunt, which says "PvEvP"
The game grew in huge player numbers prior to the event too, but good try.
