But yeah, even as a solo I don't care for it. It's too random for my liking. Still a good mode, if you can handle the frustration.
Though, I might start playing it again 'cause the same crap still happens in regular. They all focus on me :D
The rewards suck, survival is nearly impossible, it's RNG and luck as hell, full of campers, more cheaters in this mode without teammates to report them as they watch them cheat, takes forever to find a match and get into it only to be one shot after 10 minutes of doing nothing, like every aspect of it is just awful.
It's about as enjoyable as someone breaking your knees with a golf club.
I like quick play for the very reason you don't like it. Sometimes, I am in the mood for anything at all, and not knowing what i am going to get for a weapon, or who I will face and what they will have. nothing to loose... I like that sometimes.
Its random, thats what quick play is.
I like bounty mode best, but sometimes I feel like quick play.
That would be fine if the process was enjoyable, but it's not. If there was actually ->obtainable<- rewards it could be fun, but there are not any; hell if it actually used any kind of MMR it might be but given how long it takes to find a match they probably don't have the playerbase or interest in the mode to even sustain that.
I'm trying to come up with a reason to even keep playing Hunt at all right now because I clearly am not enjoying it anymore.
I think I just need to stop trying to give quickplay a chance, before it just turns me off this game entirely =/
If you ever make it to the wellspring, I think I made it there like once before. Generally I've only ever made between 25 - 75 hunt dollars from this game mode, and it isn't worth the amount of time it takes to get into a match, the low enjoyment value I get from it, and the length of time it takes to get that much.
That like -never- happens though, it may as well be shooting for the moon that means nothing to me because it's essentially an unobtainable goal. It isn't tangible to me.
Since I can't ACTUALLY keep any of that it doesn't matter that it cost me nothing to play, since there isn't any motivation to play. In normal bounty hunt escaping with a bounty is a tangible possible thing I feel I have a chance at so it works out win or lose.
Like I can't actually keep any of the items in the map, I'll never survive, I can't keep any of the traits or the interesting looking hunter, I'll never survive.
I get the wellspring at least 70% of the time so I guess I can't relate. Stop worrying about AI enemies and Audio traps. Just get from rift to rift as quickly as possible, shoot everything. That is fun of it for me.
