Cheater problem
before I start, for the fanboys of this game who are going to say "I don't run into any cheaters in this game" or "You are just bad", thanks. Move along.

That being said, I am tired of getting snipped with a winfield 400+ meters away sixty seconds into the game by a guy who clearly doesn't have any sort of line of sight on me, but instant headshots me anyways from ♥♥♥♥♥♥ long range.

tbh, dont over estimate the power of luck, or you being on that bad end of someones one "good" game out of a thousand. Sometimes you get ♥♥♥♥ on 15 games in a row, then sometimes you just do godly 15 games in a row, or sometimes its neither and you just win some or lose some.

I think out of my new 40 hours of returning to this game, only think i encountered a cheater once.

Show screenshot at least, video is better. We heard a lot of whiners that exxagerating their noobism to heavens, so it's normal for people to have prejudice about cheaters callouts.
Cause It's impossible to deal any damage from Winfield on this distance.

This. And sixty seconds in game means what exactly in your opinion? In that time the first clue can already by picked up and a team that spawns nearby can simply run to the same clue where you meet.

I've never encountered a situation like the one you described in over 2100 hours... Not even once.

23 seconds from start my quickest encounter. On Hemlock. But it's less than 200m

As I said above, "before I start, for the fanboys of this game who are going to say "I don't run into any cheaters in this game" or "You are just bad", thanks. Move along."

So...move along.

Which is why I was deeply annoyed and screaming "sus". Also if the kill view is to be believed, he had no line of sight on me, but beaned me with a winfield.

Are you allowed to share screenshots and vids? Thought that was usually a big no no. If not, I will make sure to provide some next time.

You can hide his name.
One dude on discord said he was killed from 1000+ meters, then shown screenshot, showing 1048m distance. I didn't checked PShopped it or not, but he had backup for his words. You saying real strange thing. It's not about snap aim, three wall pen headshot or brickwall nitro pen. It's about kill through impenetrable objects, I presume, from small caliber that almost can't hit after 100m one shot headshot you.
To kill from 400m you need aim from one compound to other through one. I've done ~240m kill and was killed from 244m. It was martini Henry headshot.
To kill from such distance, you should either stand still or move on him, cause Winfield bullet would travel approximately one second to you.
Also reason why I'm doubtful: I've escaped silenced Winfield cheater once, cause was 100+m.

Why is it so complicated to understand the op? A cheater killed him at the first minute of the match. Simple. Don't belive it? If you not a paid bot, go and check google, just type "Hunt Showdown cheats" and check the demonstration video on yhe veteran website. I advise the same for all the ignorant people how never ever saw a cheater in thousands of hours. C'com bois. It's a real and serious problem for all of us.

More like paid bots are constant whiners. Cheats that breaks game mechanics on server side? Sounds like cheat AD bots.

Don't respond to the troll Tom, Literally all they do around here is be contrarian and bait people into arguments. Since apparently mods aren't banning them for violating the rules against flaming all we can do is ignore till they calm down and get bored/become a constructive member of the forums....
You asking him to not answer to you, interesting.

Mr. Old Timer 58 Jul 1, 2021 @ 5:46am
To say there are no cheaters in the game is just pure ignorance.
It's the internet. Cheats for sale are a big money maker - for all games.
I personally have plenty of hrs in this game and I've ( and my buddies) have run into many strange shots in those hours.
Can't say they were all cheats because there are some really good players in this game, but yeah, some were reported.
That's about all we can do...report them.
I've experienced so many weird shots. People jumping off a roof and giving me a heads shot with a Winnie while they are in mid air..players just turning around while fighting others and just one shot me without really aiming, shots through trees, walls etc.
BUT! I have also done some shots where I was.." did you see that shot"!
Sometimes just with iron sights I am able to do headshots better than I do with scoped rifles.
This game is unlike no other with gunfights.
Let's face it. Yeah, there are cheaters here. Those are the ones who can't play this game and need the cheats. They are the ones who need those bragging rights for the leaderboard.
Real players are here too though. Players with awesome skills.
I believe there are more of the latter.
It's come to a point where I just stopped getting angry and just start a new game.
If people are feeling that the game is infested with cheaters, then I suggest stop playing and move on.
Happy hunting
🤠
