If your team hit someone using rifle like spark, mosin etc
just hit the ground near the enemy, they will be dead
No they are not that strong.... i had fights underground against Teams, they where really close together and i fired 3 Dynamite Bolts between their Feet... after they killed me i saw no one had lost more then 100 health from it... 3 bolts splash damage from perhaps 3 feet away....
Shotbolts work better.... cause they make a shotgun Sound on Impact at the point of Impact... most People you shoot with it ,and hit Arms... they survive and turn around confused cause they expect someone with shotgun to stand next to them
oh right dailies, is that what it is? i legit forget about all of those, isint there weeklys too or something?
How do you directly quote a guy talking about the upside to AoE and still fail to understand what he's saying?
Explosive crossbow is strong for the same reason explosive ammo in the single-shot rifles is strong - you don't have to be accurate. If you want something that kills people directly of course you'll take regular bullets or regular bolts or spitzer or shotbolt or whatever, but if someone else in your squad is the ace marksman and your job is to finish targets off then explosive is top tier.
If you're trying to kill people with nothing but explosive splash damage of course you're going to struggle, ♥♥♥♥ would be downright broken otherwise.
Its good but i hate the Model... it looks like some ♥♥♥♥ they would build in a Prison....
The Design makes no Sense... you would never add such big weighty rods to the end of the Limbs... they are supposed to be the most fast part.. thats why you would trim them down and make them small not add big steel rods to them....
And how is the small Crossbow supposed to work ? It would be extreme weak in real....
Just look how a Balestrino works ...and make it like this...this weird spring stuff would not work good.... Steel Hand Crossbows... where always, always made with a treaded rod in the Handle to reload... pulling them back like in Game would be a Kid Toy.....
And today most Historians think that Balestrinos where Toys... cause even when you make them with 300 lbs drawweight you can barely penetrate a leathercoat with them, the Powerstroke is so short...
Even when you take a Medieval 1200 lbs Siege Crossbow you get less then 50 Joule of Energy into the Arrow.... and the Ballestrinos are more in the range of BB Guns..

When i play Crossbow i end up thinking more of the Bad Design then actually watching for Enemys lol
Historically Crossbows were popularized for two very simple reasons... they required very little skill to use, and they were cheap to make.
In the middle ages people skilled with ranged weapons like the English Longbow took years to properly train and were both highly skilled specialist and costly, plus a quality bow could take up to a month to craft. The crossbow changed that, any farmer's son could be conscripted, handed a crossbow (which could be cheaply and quickly made by a less than skilled craftsman) and trained in days, making them cheaper by far to train and equip.
