[FIXED] Stutters in game while approaching players
Since a couple of weeks, I experience stutters in game each time I approach ou encounter other players. FPS stays strong at 60, but the game stutters more and more, until it becomes barely playable. I mean, it's hard to aim or win a duel while every move micro freeze. I tried everything, but nothing helps (playing in low quality, or deleting the User Folder and whatsoever used to work in the past...). This game used to run just fine before the Halloween event, and nothing changed on my end since, so it definitely comes from the game or the server (I play Europe). My computer is a I59600KF 3.70GHz + 16 DDR + RTX 2060 Super. After searching on Internet, I discovered that I am not the only one having these issues. It really is a bummer. Please, tell me that a patch is coming or there is some magical fix for players having this problem.

Same here. Lots of stuttering, but strong FPS at constant 60. Makes no sense. My ping isn't bad either.

perhaps disable screen capture stuff (relive, discord overlay, steam friend streaming etc) and see if you get an improvement.

Hello, big update on my end. While I was searching a way to fix the stutter the other night, during a big "crysis" in game where it became unplayable, I saw my Xbox Controller on the side and had the stupid idea to try it, instead of the mouse... and the stutter disapeared immediately.

No stutter at all with the Xbox Controller!

I tried with a new batteries, then with a different mouse, then on a different USB port but the stutters reappeared.

So I uninstalled my mouse, installed its officials drivers, unplugged my PC and empty it of all potential remaining static electricity in the USB port, and finally plug my mouse on another USB port, just to be sure.

Since then, everything went back to normal and stutters in game are just a (very) bad memory.

I fail to understand what happened here, but I could totally have missed it and just abandon the game. So if you have this problem, maybe try to see if it doesn't come from your mouse.

Thanks you for taking time to answer me in the first place.

i played hunt with a Geforce 1650 (all minimum) because i had to send my 2080s for repair.
when i played with this card, i got a freeze screen everytime before i get shot / my death animation and sometimes i got framedrop with enemys.
i stopped playing because i had the feeling i die because my bullet wasn´t even deliviered correct.
so when my card didnt come back in time , i bought a 3070rtx and its fine again.
i dont know whats the reason but its not the drivers.

I fixed my stutters by changing the Video Memory (VRAM) Usage target in the in-game graphics settings to lower, it was at 90%. I had high fps but experienced stutters
