The marksman is my favorite as it feels like it offers the most benefits in terms of how close/far you can use it. The Lebel is the only one I would personally use it on as I don't like how it feels on the Martini-Henry or the new Nagant Carbine Deadeye (edit* I put this here, but it should be up top in the Deadeye paragraph, obviously).
The sniper is good if you're good at leading shots and being super accurate. The Mosin Sniper is fantastic, the Sparks is also good but the Mosin is definitely my preference, especially with the new Hailstorm skin from the event.
Just correction.. The Carbine has a DEADEYE scope, not a marksman.
For some reason I put that in the marksman section instead of deadeye, but as you can see I wrote Nagant Carbine Deadeye not marksman.
In my opinion the Deadeye can be used on any distance you'd normally use a rifle. It's just a tad easier to aim. I personally love the Vetterli Deadeye. Combine it with one or two Pax and you can deal with any possible situation.
I'd say the best all-around would be the Marksman as it lets you see a bigger area around your target, which is great if you're scanning an area, while still being precise enough to even snatch someone running around at 200m. It's also much better on "closer" distances (~100 to 150m) than a Sniper. Also the Lebel has got the highest muzzle velocity in the game. (Think it's 630 vs the 615 which the Mosin has)
A Sniper lets you scan a liiittle more precise if you know your target is sitting somewhere in a bush, hiding behind some crates or if you have to shoot through anything that obstructs your vision but I really would only recommend that if you plan on keeping a distance of around 150m and more. A Mosin Sniper is exceptional at farming salty comments for your profile.
An advice would be to skip "underpowered" scoped weapons. Lost count of how many times I headshot someone with a Winfield Marksman or a Nagant Precision Deadeye just to get the "Yeah you hit the head, but you were out of range. Sorry lol."-sound. They surely CAN be useful but I'd always prefer the non-scoped variant of those as the scopes make you misjudge your distance to the target pretty easily.
