Hunt and NVIDIA Highlights :( [SOLVED]

So after a few years i decide to finally download GFE and use highlights for Hunt and... it's not working. I mean i don't have a button to see my highlights when i actually have it turn on in overlay. I try everything
-reinstalling GFE.
-delete user folder.
-delete colon : after hunt in some file.
Nothing works. If someone have an idea what i could do to make it works or what i could do wrong pls answer :). *btw i have GTX 1060*

when i get kills it does not always create a highlight ,maybe use instant replay and set it to record last 3 mins when you get a kill manual use a easy key shortcut like alt+x then edit the video maybe

oh and set the bitrate high and set it the instant replay to 60fps

How do you check if threre are highlists? There is a button in the match summary (not in overlay, right in the game UI). You are supposed to save highlights from there, otherwise they are just deleted.
Though trust me, you don't really want highlights. They are very poorly implemented and add severe input lag. Once you enable it, you won't really have any moment you'd want to be highlighted.

Hey Episcopus,

I had some problems with highlights on my pc in the past (with multiple games), the options never appeared for any highlights when I went into the GFE settings outside of the game. Have you tried launching the game, then pressing alt+z to bring up the GFE menu, go to options and check the highlights tab to see if you have any options to turn on the recording?

If that doesn't help, the only other options I can suggest are restarting the shadowplay overlay and performing a clean install (custom installation) of the latest driver.

Do you play from a laptop? I know someone who is having issues with recordings etc from multiple games then we read other laptop users did run into similar issues. Just something to consider but apart from that to offer, I don’t really know.

Everything that need to be turn on is on and clean/custom installation seems to not working at this problem at all.

No, i play on box.

I think its not problem with GFE but maybe with the game. Maybe reinstall do something.

Could you check in the Nvidia control panel (not GFE) to see if the game shows up in 3d settings?

Go to - Nividia control panel - manage 3D settings - "Program settings" tab. In the drop down menu, see if you can find Hunt:Showdown (Hunt.exe). If you cannot find it, then try to add a profile for Hunt and see if that gives you the option for highlights in the GFE options when the game is running.

The game is there, but there is no option for highlights :(. I will be trying to make it work, but still ty for trying to help me :).

Okey problem solved. After creating a new folder for highlights you need to one time manual (alt+f10) save some clip and then the the fuction will work properly.

NVidia Highlights have been broken for me for a long time now. The good news is they's probably still being recorded even if the button doesn't show up. Try alt-tabbing out of the game after your next match, BEFORE leaving the post-game summary, and browse to your highlights Temp folder. If your highlights are there, you can simply move them from that folder to a different one to save them. Otherwise they will be deleted after you leave the post-game summary screen.
