And this is coming from a Brazilian, the only reason that i play on US servers from time to time is because 90% of people from SA for some reason play on US servers.

If you're not playing on the servers closest to your location, then you are playing on the wrong servers. EU servers are available, they are functional, and they are populated. You deciding to play on another server on the other side of the planet where you'll have triple digit ping is you playing on the wrong servers, despite whatever "reason" or "excuse" you have for doing so.

I get it. You want to play with your friends. That doesn't make it right for the other people that have to deal with your lag, though. Instead, that's something that would characterize you as selfish.

And are you really trying to take the moral high ground and trying to guilt trip me because I play on US servers instead of EU because I have friends there?

We aren't on the topic of NA, we are on the topic of playing on the wrong servers.
I'm not taking a moral high ground. Just because you're too ignorant to comprehend this simple concept of people generally disliking others for playing on the incorrect servers due to high ping issues, does not mean that trying to educate you on the matter is me trying to "guilt trip" you.

And I think it's pretty reasonable to be upset if others are ruining your gaming experience by intentionally lagging. We all just want to enjoy the game.

Exactly. a lot of South Americans say their servers are empty. Well yeah, they are empty cause 90% of people from South America is trying to Ping Abuse on North American servers. There is legit so many South Americans on US East, I haven't died to an AMERICAN player on US East in my last 12 deaths in a row. Not to mention, I play randoms a lot. One if not BOTH of my random partners are South American.

Imo ping of 100 is absolutely fine in Hunt. Not 100% ideal, but worth the ability to play on servers with different prime times and/or with friends from abroad. I would however say there should be a ping lock for around 200.

Yesterday i had no Americans in my server, it was baffling. Played against that one dude in the top 10 for KD, and he is from SA, i guess we know how he is so high up.

Yeah, it's actually stupid, the Hunt Showdown BR discord fills enough for 3 matches with people playing together but all of them are always on US, removing the option to select servers like Rainbow Six Siege. does would be the best method to fix this issue

That´s right, I didn´t, because we don´t have as many intolerant and aggressive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ where I live. It is quite telling of your own character if you consider it to be whiteknighting/virtue signalling when someone points out that maybe trying to marginalize the opinion of someone else because they maybe belong to a minority and therefore are automatically somehow less worthy as human beings, and that it doesn´t exactly make for a constructive way to continue a discussion.

Tl;dr
I want to enjoy the game with my friends and I'm given the choice to do so by the devs and your gatekeeping isn't working.

PS. Ping to NA East is maybe 100~ and West maybe 40 more so not even that bad.
As it is in Tarkov for me. Rubberbanding/Compensation isn't bad if even existant at these numbers and I have to deal with it just as much, it's not ideal for me either and I hardly get an advantage out of it.
