I mean we played 4 games yesterday.. we were 50/50.. I did get 4 kills in one game.. which is a lot for me personally since my K/D is trash.. 0.97. Still don't think prestige 100 players should be in the same game as someone with less than 20 hours lol.
i wouldnt be so concerned about matchmaking. i mean you will get better the more u play anways , so it basically evens out
Exactly.
Trying to hit one shot and getting a headshot back won´t help players to grow.
I met enough high prestige players playing this game like fools.
e.g. destroying dog pound or using a flarepistol / quad derringer to kill some AI, which is 1000 times louder than avoiding them or just using a knife.
Or players with a sniper who rush a boss house, when you heard that they shot with a shotgun before.
The thing is, next to the strategy-aspect of the game, aim is everything. You can be a sneaky god, but if you miss your first shot, it´s mostly over against the supreme-players. Even if you hit it, the mate from the dead guy knows your position then.
New players don´t have a change against it. Even if sway is reduced to nearly nothing, every weapon has a different ADS. The most don´t even know the difference between the ammo types too.
They can´t grow without playing and trying in an even environment. Just watching others won´t help your aim and not to find a playstyle for your own. Circumstances are always different and a 0,5 KD hero won´t be able to rush anything even if he watched others 1000 hours.
Matchmaking is needed asap. Then the playerbase will get bigger and ppl will stay and get better.
Exactly my friend played today and he said he was just getting killed left and right in randoms.. and while I agree he will learn from getting killed and the experience.. too much and people won't want to keep playing. A challenge is one thing.. a 0 prestige player playing against prestige 100s.. there is nothing to be learned.. one shot and you're dead.
Either, they will implememt the proper matchmaking or the game is going to die out sooner then we all think...
Same goes for millions of other problems this game has.
I really hope they fix it before the next big patch otherwise the player count will drop again as usual and everyone wonders why the game is dying
So essentially you end up with noobs learning nothing and getting frustrated and quit..
I'd rather play the game than never play it.
Exactly! I don't know why people are so opposed to playing against people better than them. Plus a quick way to kill the game is make matches crappy for the top players. If they can never find matches, sitting in queue for 30 minutes just to wait for the perfect combo of other top players, they will just make smurf accounts, or just quit all together.
you are the unknown factor.. yes there are prestige 0 players who are rank 100 and also have thousands of hours in the game... but we will never know but the prestige 100 players 100% we know for sure need to be removed from low rank prestige matches.
to piggy back on this I almost feel like the game should then force you to prestige.. because that's just it.. some dude could make a new account and sit at lvl 0 and be as good as a person who is prestige lvl 100.. if everyone was forced to prestige then we could have pvp brackets like we do in WOW.. every 10 prestige levels you get bumped up the ladder to the next bracket.
NOBODY is saying we don't want a challenge or to play against people that are better than them but to literally take a person who has less than 20 hours in the game and put them against a person who has 4k hours.. is a joke that person isn't learning ♥♥♥♥ from that experience.
If this was any other type of PvP game, I would agree. But this is a free for all. Games like this, are full of unfair situations. I could just as easily be shot in the back by a 10 hour noob it came upon me in the middle of a fire fight with other team. Plus I rarely have this kind of miss match. If you play in a region or time of day with less players, then maybe that's the best the match making can do, and you would literally never play otherwise.
