DDOS attack
Are hackers able to DDOS individual players? Because I was at the start of a match with a game and suddenly everything rubber banded until I couldn't move anymore. Eventually the game just stopped and silently crashed to desktop but my internet never went down.

Yeah I wasnt talking about ddos just hacks in general. aimbot and map hacks to be precise.

Nah, thats just hunt servers in general. Crytek is the first game company to take the brave step into space-based server holding by hosting all servers on the Voyager 1 space probe, a probe located aproximately 13 billion miles away from earth. Signals take roughly 19 hours to reach Voyager 1 from planet earth, and another 19 hours for the probe to send a signal back. Leading to the average ping of 68400000, decently low by Cryteks standards.

I agree with this guy hackers on hunt showdown are a problem one stole my identity while i was playing a match and now he has my steam account my credit card info and is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ my wife

Fact: hacks for H:S exist

Fact: servers are an issue

Fact: Server issues are exacerbated by said hacks

Fact: Crashes are local phenomenon because of some bad coding or some illegal function that the program or windows cannot process

Fact: Server lag is a global non-local issue that affects everyone connected to said server

Fact: Laggy servers don't cause the kind of strange lag/rubberbanding that only affect one person combined with a local crash

Fact: This event didn't trigger the anti-cheat kick nor did my internet go down as evidenced by my modem

It doesn't take a genius to put these pieces together to see that something is up.
