Low gpu usage

Hey guys, Ive tried the game during the weekend to see how my pc can handle it. Although I am getting 60+ fps in 1440p my gpu is mostly working on like 50 to 60% only. Cpu is on 60% also. Is there a reason why? Sometimes it drops bellow 60 fps.
My rig is ryzen 5 3600 , rtx 2080 super with 32gb 3200mhz ram.
Ive tried lowering the settings but it didnt help. Its only in this game.

How would lowering the resolution scale help with a cpu bottleneck?
If anything it would get worse

To OP: You should be getting way better performance, i play on Low with high textures at 1440p.
With a 1070 and a i7 3770 4,6ghz and i get around 90-100 fps both gpu and cpu near maxed out

CPU Bottleneck? Lmao never. I have a Ryzen 5 2600X combined with a Gigabyte 5700XT OC and 16GB RAM running at 3000mhz. I get 80 fps (capped) on high everything just with small fps drops when a new area seems to be loading or sth like that. Try putting or CPU in Precision boost overdrive with ryzen master. Mb u should change it on gamemode and just some cores off

From what i've read the game leans more on the cpu than the gpu.

This game is not optimized , you can meet 10 zombies in 1 spot and get -30fps drop on a 24 threaded cpu. Enjoy

No the cap is at 144

Definetly not all of them. Its using like 4-6 threads and the rest is idling at 15ish %.

Check for any core being loaded too much (~100%).

From my exp the same, this game code is garbage and is using ~2-4 threads

Also he says:
"You're talking about "they save cpu consumption in order to pay less for servers", that is the servers' hardware having cheap CPUs, so the code has to be CPU conscientious"

So I can assume that they have the best cpu in data center that exist in the world , and because they are so bad they have spawn zombies in to ur face


C Devs are doing their best to bring you the best expirience , 12 cores the best server code.
Don't uderstand what else do you need ? Obviously you have potato pc and problem is on ur side ( sarcasm )

Set up Task Manager to show the Per Logical Core usage, as described in the guide above in the "CPU Main" section.

Take a screen shot, and I can have a look. Maybe also record a 10-15 seconds of gameplay with Detailed Diagnostics enabled (in Graphics options).
