However your graphics card is really not the most important thing in Hunt... You need a good CPU for Hunt way more than a good graphics card.
I think people are trying to get you to get into it so they have an easy target. lol.
Dude thats jargon and industry buzz talk. You cant say a gpu does this and that because a game needs CPU, MOBO,RAM, etc to work.
A 1060 will not run this game on medium at 60 fps. I have an i76700k, g1 sniper mobo, 1060, and no stable 60 fps. I hav eto turn everything to low and use single pass lighting and shadows.
I can use AA x1 or 2, but lets not pretend video card benchmarks mean anything.
i76700k. I can get 60, just not at medium settings as someone above indicated was possible. I can get 60 on low using 1 pass lighting.
It doesnt matter I came back after a 3 month break to see how the game was doing and its still a headshot and hack fest. The game was amazing pre launch before the hacks started showing up ( which was about 1 month prior to full release ).
Just uninstalled.
I played the game well enough for my first 1200 hours on all low settings with 40-50 FPS.
Then I upgraded to a brand new machine and it felt like I'd been playing with blinders and extra weights on.
I'd say save your money, then save some more and get a 2070 Super with an i9 CPU.
It's well worth the extra money.
Out of curiosity what do you call a good CPU? My graphics card is a 980 Ti. My CPU on the other hand is a Core i7 920 from about a decade ago. This works perfectly.
