Tutorial question

Hi, im kinda new to this game and I was a little confused by the tutorial.
Is it supposed to start me with nothing but fists?

To anyone reading this who has the bug, game's busted just skip the tutorial initially and go to the main menu, you should be able to choose your hunter from the roster and do the tutorial that way (and have your guns and not have to cheese the boss for an hour with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ axe).

The tutorial starts you with the hunter you’ve selected in the recruitment tab. If the hunter starts with fists, then you don’t have a hunter with a weapon

damn thats weird, I tried selecting a different hunter but it starts me with the same girl and she has nothing at all equipped just fists, even though the recruitment tab shows her with a rifle.

The hunters are trained as MMA fighters, they can decimate the zombies head, try it; you will find an axe and work wonders with it, the tutorial idea is to show you that mobs in this game need to be melee and not shot so you don't alert everything, it is a weird way of teaching it but you will get it when you play with a team.

ya, but the hardest difficulty has the spider splitting my wig, kinda hard to beat his ass with just an axe.

Strange. I’ll check it out when i’m back home if the issue isn’t resolved yet.

u can always outrun the boss, so go with the axe hit it 3 times and then go out the boss cant go out, wait 4 ur stamina to come back then go in again, u wont even lose 1 HP doing the boss

it's not fun, but it's silently effective.
if you hate slowly whittling the boss with a melee, bring two sticky bombs. throw one on him and wait till it explodes. wait till he is not enraged(there is sound queues) and then either finish him off with fast gunfire, a melee, or another sticky. will be very fast and not boring melee.
