well just honest, someone crying after playing the game for almost 7 hours and think he know what the talks about will not be missed
Game is just to heavily skewed toward people who played for a long time. There is no way for a noob player to compete with that and its not fun honestly. In the age of battle royales and FPS games, there are to many more fun and engaging options out there now. Valorant will suck even more FPS players.
People , even noobs and low skilled players want to feel like they have some kind of chance to have fun. This game dosen't give you that at all.
The game needs fixed and needs to be tweaked to let noobs and lower skilled players have fun and learn the game or play against other noobs only. The 'MMR' they have is non exsistent. I get wtf pwned headshot or flanked by a pre made duo, always double up arrow 'much more skilled'. sometimes it is only a one up arrow but thats rare.
There should be a mode in this for players who are new and no 'vets' are allowed to play, idk. not my job to figure it out. but something needs fixing. No, the no death til level 11 thing isn't the same. That honestly does nothing for new players or low skill players lol.. you still get wtf pwned continually.
12 players per match max. Ive played a few games in a row where the bar for searching for players fills and just starts a match. Then i sit for 30 seconds or so with 'waiting for players to join'. Literally no gunshots the entire map. game goes the entire almost hour. I farm NPCS and leave. I actually enjoy this, but i think it says A TON about the state of the game. Empty servers and all you need are 12 players.. k...
i can log into apex legends, warzone, other FPS etc and have full games ready to go instantly, max players. hell some of those require 60-100+ players per match.
This game needs fixed. it needs new players and needs to allow new players to grow into the game and not be wtf pwned headshot every match. that causes bordem/frustration and eventually a lost player base.
Also the game needs a Bounty hunt for only solos. Its tiring always going up against pre-made duos on discord.. leave that option there but give the soloers a chance too.
I do enjoy the atmosphere of the game and love the wild west feel, But as a FPS player whos been playing FPS since quake 3 arena back in 1998 or so I can say that this game does need tweaked and does most certainly actually extremely favor 'vets' and basically shuns noobs. thats not good if you want new fresh players and to grow your playerbase.
If new players feel that they dont even have a fighting chance, then new players will take their FPS needs elsewhere. I think thats what is happening here.
You may be right. But I'm a newbie too. I'm enjoying the game from the very first hour. It's true that I can't get a bounty yet and I only had one win in Quickplay, but I'm getting better. Killing even one hunter is really satisfying for me. Yesterday my friend and I killed two teams in a single match and my friends playtime is lower than me.
We have no problem in finding matches in EU servers. And I can easily see that we join with players at our skill level almost. but yeah I've come across pro players too.
People can't stand the learning curve unfortunately. Buy anyway I think this problem will be fixed with the promised "Mentor System" and a PvE mode to practice aiming.
Game is in the right direction IMO and constantly improving
when every man and his dog start jumping on , our gem will be flavor of the month and its going to suck but at the same time the influx can only support development and bring them the money they deserve. so its a win , but a cringy future ahead i fear. just imagine whiney punk kids tryna get in and bring about some new meta / language/lingo and ruin what we have here.
crispy hentai noodles anyone?
I learned a lot by playing with higher rank hunters. Different playstyles depending on the weapon and also how to counter people camping in many ways. Also how to push players in structures.
Im not any god at the game, my KD is slightly above 1, like 1.17 but i think that every death is not very stressful as I can pick up free hunter if I need and just give him a medkit. There are frustrating deaths but you can learn from every death really and remember to use tools to your advantage. I would say difficulty lies in the fact you need to prepare and see how to benefit from bombs or other utility items.
Game is unforgiving in sense of permadeath after bl 11 but it does not hurt that much. Comparing deaths here to lets say Escape From Tarkov(that has much bigger audience), Hunter Showdown is more chill. I dont feel like much when I die here. Tarkov punishes you more but you can still run some "free" random gear guy every 15 minutes or so.
TLDR: What Im saying is that HS is not that much harder and that perma death of hunters is scaring people more than it should. You loose hunter yeah, but two good games with bounty extracted and you have 25 lvl ready to retire hunter.
This.
justm ingore that hating low hour player who most probably have played hunt for 10 minutes only because the lobby scared him.
It seems all they can do is create skins, the game is stagnant and requires better servers with more real game content.
they working on content so calm your chips tits
