My dream game would be Hunt: showdown as a open world rpg.

Undead nightmare expansion for red dead was pretty disappointing but it's the closest i've experienced. I hope Crytek continues building this awesome world they've created long after this title. If they had a big enough budget, hunt: showdown would just be a pvp gamemode in this massive story driven open world co-op game. Not many others are putting this much creativity into their enemy types anymore let alone this rich atmosphere into pvp maps. I'd imagine there would be undead, demons, witches, werewolves and vampires to name a few. Hellraid might come close to this vision hopefully if it ever climbs out of development hell. I really feel like a hunter of evil whenever I fire this game up and enjoy the pve aspects much more than the pvp though its a nice mix but i'm always craving this quality on a bigger scale.

Yes, I've often thought that if they had the money to anchor the multiplayer to a solid, first person story they'd have a juggernaut of a franchise on their hands. So much talent on the Crytek team.

Same! The setting is so rare in gaming general. An open world RPG ala Skyrim but with the setting of Hunt... Well, i can dream...

mine would be objective based pvp with respawns. i love the feeling of guns in this game.

oh and ofc a dream would be hunt without rubberbanding/desync and better netcode <3

kind of. with less magic i suppose and co-op. if the witcher 3 had some sort of co-op it would be one of the most played games on steam.
