Health is stupid
so is it just me or am i absolutely fed up with the health system of this game, like ive played for probly idk a few hundred hours or so and i gotta say the actual only benefit to the health bar system is having a long bar at the end so that it doesnt all burn away when you get lit on fire, other than that i dont even see a point to the health bar system seems pretty frivolous since you either die in one shot to a head shot or you need to constantly maintain yourself at full health or else youll get one shot killed anywhere you get hit anyways.

There is some strategy behind health bar set-ups. PvP - Having a small bar at the end is useful since if you get downed, you will only lose 25 on revive. PvM / Boss rushing - Having big bars is useful for more regen and less need for meds.

Wanting a big chunck on the end is what newbies want.
Good PVP players want only small chuncks. = More health after revives.
There is health everywhere on the map so maintaining the lost chunk isnt much of an issue

LOL what

a good pvp player wouldnt get downed so he wouldnt need the small bars to compensate for his failure

but no matter how good you are you are gonna get hit alot and medkit placement is very random

There are ups and downs in small and big health chunks. The general idea is:solo:big bars, duos or trios:small bars.

You do realize that those 2 statement contradict each other?

Good players arent immortal. Everyone dies some now and then. AND to prevent dying, small chunks are better. Oh and again, yes, health is everywhere if you know the game. Even randomly placed.

yes everyone dies sometimes but missing 25 hp will also ♥♥♥♥ you over so its better to have the extra regen so you can stay alive longer and use less heals

and you rly cant count on the random medkit placement sometimes there are none in your area and the ones that are there are where the enemy is so you cant use them its just not something you can count on

Guess it comes down to preferences ;-)

A: Big bars have the advantage to recover more health when burned or damaged without the need of med kits and the like.
This is helpful when you get hit / burned / whatever by the AI.
It is also helpful in PvP fights when hits deal less damage then the big bar. (long distance fights or when enemies shoot you with the wrong guns/ammo for a certain distance)

B: Small bars have the advantage of losing only 25HP if you are downed. If you stay way back in fights, you can support your team while surviving further hits.

Personally I prefer the small bars, because usually I don't receive any damage by the AI and I am not sniping a lot so if I get hit, it usually deals more than a big bar of damage. On the other hand we were able to extract 1 and 2 bounties with one of us missing a small health bar :-)

are you guys all telling me that health packs around the map will heal burned out or missing health bars?
