smoke bombs?
it feels like it would rly fit in this game and its strange that we still have to use dynamite as makeshift smoke cover

I would say that anti flame granade is supposed to be a smoke one also but they are too stupid to implement this

they could just add the same model and make it spew oout smoke instead of the choke stuff

I think a smoke bomb would open up too many cheese strategies. The only way to implement it would be to have a really short duration on it, somewhere between 5-10 seconds. Just enough to revive your buddy or make an escape.

Uhm fusing serve the same purpose in Hunt as smoke bombs do in other games.
And I thought the engine can't handle smoke bombs and that's the reason

it rly doesnt when people hear a fuse sure they will run for cover but you cant rly do anything either as soon as they notice the explosive isnt near them they will pop out again

I mean cause the fuse blinds and makes people unable to see. I thought it's about throwing a smoke on a dead mate to revive him. I so that with fusings

They said it is too much of a challenge to code it in a way that even zombies react to it properly. Lol.

That is a pretty bad argument considering the game has Flash Bombs. :D

Also, making a smoke grenade is very easy. All you need is potassium nitrate and sugar, both of which were household items in those times.

Smoke bombs would be THE ONLY anticamping measure you need if devs were tiny bit smarter. They instead added so called anti camper mechanics that only encourage camping with free consumables at every corner to refill after a fight.
Have a nice day Dec 9, 2019 @ 2:36am
I use dynamite for smoke bomb, although the smoke seems less now than it was.
