Flashing Visual Cue - What Does It Mean?
my friend and i played a game which was empty.
we approched the boss lair, their was a blinking red cue on the picture of the boss,
it happened twice in a matter of 10-20 seconds but then nothing.
what does it mean?
also, are there other visual cues and if so what are they?

another thing,
the new cards which gives you bounty money for time left in the game,
we had different values, how is that even possible??

The visual indicator just lets you know you've entered the inner or outer radius, that's all. If you want to know if there's enemy hunters in the boss compound you'll need to use dark sight.

That's correct, but enemy hunters must be in the inner 40mts radius.

yes it is on test server.
there was an update which they said that they added visual ques to bosse's status and the whispering will only be when you use dark sight.
but i dont understand the visual que.

ooops, now i see i posted on standard discussion.
yeah, but what does it mean if it blinks red when there is no one around?
and it only did that twice.
are there other cues and what are they?
they just mentioned visual cues without explaining how much are there and what they mean?

Could you describe the situation you were in? Maybe we can figure it out.

Boss in compound, boss alive, boss dead, (hunters nearby, no hunters close - but this would be indicated through the sound in darksight)...

My guess is that by "target status" they mean - is the boss alive / dead. So red would mean it is still alive (while you pass the radius) and the death indicator might be something else.
Got to test it today, these are just speculations

it might be that the visual cue we saw means that the boss is alive like you said
but it doesnt really tell you if there are people around.

to my understanding:
1) 80m with no hunters camping: low hissing sound
2) 80m with hunters camping: high hissing sound
3) 40m with or without campers: high hissing sound
4) boss is dead - no sound at all, so you know people might be there.

i guess the visual cue i saw reffer to the 4th situation,
instead of checking the dark sight if there are hissings you can just see if it is dead or not.
it appeared like a warning so that is why it was confusing cause why is it that alarming if
no one is there? just to say that the boss is alive?
