hunt maps are really much harder to make than tarkov.
tarkov have base with random houses and cars in it. hunt are handcrafted to not give you insane advantage. there is almost no holes on your eye level and so on.
I doubt that. They could have been just as easlly announcing the servers being shut down from lack of players and revenue, if they didn't develop the game the way they did.
People kept trying to claim 1.0 was going to kill Hunt, which didn't happen. Quite the opposite actually.
Hunt and EFT, while having a similair core gameplay loop, are very different games. They both can be enjoyed for different reasons.
It's kinda the opposite. I was going to be a new coop IP, but it got canceled. The scrapes being used to create Hunt Showdown. Much like what happened to Blizzard's new MMO becoming Overwatch.
I just can't belive the base price for Hunt is 40 rn :/
But yes, lets continue comparing apples and oranges
