I'm here to watch your non-stop train-wreck of comments, failed logic, and false equivalencies.
Comparing games is completely subjective, so you are never going to 'win' your Tarkov > Hunt argument.
Many of the highest rated games, both critically and by steam users, had only a small fraction of the Tarkov numbers. Numbers are numbers and can be misused and misunderstood.
No amount of your sycophantic fawning is going to change anyone's mind on the matter.
Boom
and ima just say right now compairing tarkov (dont really know anything of it) and hunt showdown are completly seperate games with completly diffrent designs
what alot of op has compared is just a bit silly when hunt showdown is dare i say it, mosly just a unique battle royal game
there is no need for trading becaue its your hunt doller manegement
there is no need for true realism as the game is more of a FPS than a realisstic shooter (in fact they kinda removed what realistic elements they had from what i seen from 2018 gameplay)
lets talk about weapons for example
tarkov has plenty of modren guns etc that focuses on realism and loot based drops etc
while hunt showdown has that few selection of guns that affect your approach to a fight where every stat matters
tarkov is loot bassed focus so a trading system is key factor to the game while hunt showdown you just assume your gonna lose everything just to buy it again
map size is irelevent when something like hunt takes ages to travle enough as it is and larger map size wont benifit the game in any way
OP tried comparing 2 completly irelevent games just to call out that hunt is a lazy game design when that is not allways the fact
No, the recoil is genuinely broken. It was fine a year ago.
Price doesn't matter, my original point still stands.
It's not about skill. You're acting like Tarkov is this high skilled, niche game that only the very best FPS players can play. It isn't, it's just a poorly designed online shooter where meta weapons and gear can make up for lack of skill.
You can get an RFB, SA-58 or MDR, load it with M80 rounds and kill almost anything within seconds.
Hunt isn't trying to be realistic though.
So cringe. Keep telling yourself that.
Tarkov is only "hard" if you run around in a Paca and starter ammo.
The game is much easier for unskilled people with time to farm all day and get the best armour and weapons in the game.
Im playing the Cycle, and for some time we had several tarkov vets came to the forums to complain the armour system in the Cycle is useless - reason is the TTK in The Cycle is very low, even with high tier armour, and these "hardcore" players from Tarkov are so used to tanking full magazines for several seconds and still be able to react and win, that when they try to play The Cycle, they die within a second of getting shot at... and then go whine the game is badly designed, lol.
There was a hilarious thread about a guy complaining the armour system was bad because he was in purple armour and it could not tank 1.1 seconds of fire. This guy took over a second to react to being shot, when average human reaction is 300ms or so, and he still had the nerve to complain it was the game that was bad.
Also you are lying about the recoil. Once again, maybe if you are a new player or dont play often. But the truth is if you train your character skills and get the best weapons / mods, you will have laser aim fire with no recoil. That's the most unrealistic ♥♥♥♥ I've even seen.
Also community is garbage. They are the worst FPS players in the genre who want to believe they are playing the most hardcore FPS game ever, so by association they are the best FPS players around. When in reality, they are quite bad and only stomp because they no-life farm into the top tier gear.
Tarkov is a glorified MMO game that tries to conceal itself as a hardcore FPS. It's hilariously bad.
And if you believe the 200k population you are pretty naive. 200k population and 1 month into the 6 month wipe the game is empty except for the few no-lifers? Right. lol.
I have no idea why you are trying to defend Tarkov so hard but you're doing a terrible job at it.
Perhaps you have too much love for Daddy Nikita?
Hunt and Tarkov are different genres, it's pointless comparing them.
I would rather play with a community of 15k people that are mostly respectful than play with one of 200k that is full of egotistical kids that think they are good because they just wiped the entire server of hatchet runners.
This honestly applies to both game lmao
Is there a PVP focused game that isn't? Honestly, please point me towards it.
