How do i change character? "Solved" (Please stop commenting).

How do i change character? I though this game was a game kinda like L4D or something, I took the guy with the shotgun but i seem to be unable to change to the other selection wich had an rifle, Anyone knows? // Keeping the post up since there was given an good awnser, And so that if anyone else has the same issue they can just simply search n find this post.

No, there is just shotgun guys there aswell, i even used the free re-roll thing, and still shotguns, I ended up selling all the characters equipment n bought a rifle.. but well.. characters prettymuch ruined now.

When you start the game, until a certain level your hunter will not be deleted after death. Usually, when your hunter dies, you lose them forever and everything they had. You can buy new hunters from the recruitment tab and change out the weapons and equipment they have whenever you want. You can change the hunter you're using before going in-game if you already own multiple ones. Hunter's HP bars, weapons, perks, etc are completely randomly generated but again you can still adjust their loadout yourself. Hope this helps.

Hm, Well i meant when you start the game you got to select 1 of 2 characters, And i regret my selection

Dont get attached to certain hunters. Eventually you will unlock all the weapons and be able to choose exacrly what you want for each game.

You will lose hunters over and over again.

No prob! The Hunters at the start are just a free hunter to get you started. They aren't really characters but rather just a random blank slate for you to customize. When you play more you will get used to losing or retiring your hunters. They aren't main characters or important to the universe per say. At first you might be attached to not losing a certain hunter but it's going to happen as it does to every player in the game. Some like to keep their level 50 hunters as trophies but that's about it.

Alright, Thanks. Tho i probably won't touch this game again until they add PvE, Way too difficult (even the monsters are really hard imo). I guess ill leave this discussion up, incase someone has the same questions and that way they should have their awnsers aswell.

It seems very hard for mostly everyone who starts playing it but eventually you'll realize the AI are pretty easy and more of an annoyance if anything. As far as the PvP goes which is the main thrill for most people, it can be hard depending on who is in your lobby but learning how to gunfight is part of the experience. I recommend you give it a shot as most people don't give it a chance after only a couple games. Finding some people willing to help and play with you makes things alot easier because the game is a rough road for solo players unless you're experienced. If you really don't like hardcore games or the PvP aspect then this probably isn't the game for you sadly. There will be a solo PvE mode added but I really don't think it will be all that amazing and will be more of a practice mode for aim and getting a feel for Bounty Hunt (main mode).

Well, I hate PvP, and as i explained, I was lured into buying it beliving it was possible to PvE with friends, Not about challenge, Just a fun/creepy experience going around shootin monsters.

If you have under 2 hours of gameplay a refund might be a valid option.

If you don't own the killing floor games, those would be a better option honestly. Chill, pve, co-op, lots of killing.

Ah, Thank you, This seems more like the kind of game i thought this game was (except for that i thought this game was more, well.. not hacknslash but more creepy n dark MP+PVE), Ill try that out eventually then. Thanks for the help.

Im going to sound like a ♥♥♥♥ and thats because im trying to but how the ♥♥♥♥ were you lured into thinking this was a pve game. Why is reading the the store page or watching a 10 minute gameplay video so hard.

I watched and read the store page, And from that i came to the conclusion that it was what i thought it was, But it wasn't. No need to be rude.
