You don't have a larger field of view with the current crosshair unless you count seeing the sky a benefit. You have less of a view if anything since you can't see as much of the ground in a game where thats important. I have no idea why people are creating some reality where anyone has ever complained the gun placement blocks their view. I could go even further saying that since you now have to look further down to see the ground more clearly, your aim is off in the event someone pops into view. Nothing you're saying makes any sense except gunslinger giving away your position, which is irrelevant here, and even so, let those people play with that.
Hmm come to think of it that would be nice, being able to admire the beautiful guns in Hunt a bit better..
I’m not complaining... I’m saying game should stay as it is in regards to UI, you are the one complaining. Trust me, a centered crosshair isn’t gonna make you play better.
How am I looking for an easier game btw, I’m a multiple hundred hour vet with a 2+ K/D. I’m not playing people adjusting to how to play the game, I’m playing against seasoned vets. Go play CoD if you want some shoot em up instant gratification gameplay. Play hunt if you want an actual challenging game.
Notice in some of my posts I talk past tense. That’s because this game isn’t hardcore anymore, it’s been morphed by people used to the same game just repackaged by different companies with new game modes and graphics. I’m against changes being suggested by people who have things like 98 hours played and have a current 67 hours spent the last 2 weeks gaming. You could literally have played this game for 3 weeks and put it down now your suggesting how things should change when you hardly even understand the game. I’ve given quite a few suggestions and reasons for the game to stay the same, you guys just don’t care to hear it. Obviously the developers don’t agree with you though since crosshairs still aren’t centered over the years of this game existing, I feel like that’s good reason enough.
Honestly for me it's just a detail but rip muscle memory. Even tho it wouldn't cost a lot of resources to put a centered crosshair it doesn't make the game unplayable but would be a nice quality of life improvement.
You've only given the reason of consistency which makes no sense regarding a crosshair placement. It's a lack of argument if thats your stance when what I've said shows how it actually affects the gameplay. By bringing up my hours played on steam overall, you show again how you have no real argument so you bring up irrelevant things. So again I'm still waiting for you to give a single logical reason why this crosshair placement is good because consistency doesn't make sense. It's a fallacy.
This is what most people's argument is, it's not making the game hard to play. It's an annoyance and a simple change. No defender has argued how it benefits to see more of the sky. You don't have a larger field of view when the added view is upward.
You are suspiciously stubborn against a suggestion that does not affect you in any way at all and you are posting many words with no actual content as what your reasoning is.
Like seriously, it doesn't affect you, why are you against it?
Would a centered crosshair make me play better? Not really, because I adjust my monitor to have the crosshair on my eye level. If I didn't have a monitor which adjustable height, then yes, it would make me play better.
Also, vets are not only playing against vets. Everyone plays against everyone since matchmaking prefers fast queue times over even remotely balanced matches. That's common knowledge.
do you guys think something will change?
Having options is almost always a good thing to have in a game. People that think they benefit from an offset crosshair will have it offset. People that think they benefit from the classical centered crosshair will choose that.
Maybe it doesnt make alot of a difference. It just feels off and having the option to change it wouldnt hurtanybody.
is this too much of a technical challenge that they dont want to pay for having this option or are they just unaware that people might want this?
~310 hours here, this is literally the flatest fps I've ever played. All you see ever is sky.
I actually don't believe you to be truthful. your hiding your hours, your steam account is 5 years old, you have 9 friends. Im gonna say you have far less then 310 hours.
