Decision on keeping soul survivors
Hi,

I think there should be a possibility to decide wether to keep or to discard a soul survivor after winning a quickplay match.

As there are only 4 slots, winning a 5th match will remove the 1st survivor according to a fifo principle.
By playing a 5th match I have to decide if I am willing to lose a previous soul survivor or if I have to leave the match early during the last seconds (so the win does not count).

Losing a well equiped survivor with great traits just to replace him with worse one is quite annoying. However, being forced to either stop playing until there is free space in the queue or leaving matches on purpose is just as annoying as the other option.

In my opinion, after winning a match, you should be able to decide if a previous hunter should be overwritten or if the fresh hunter should be discarded.

Beside this, the game is great!

I agree, would be a useful feature.
Still I'd argue that you could always discard bad survivors beforehand or send them to your rooster - where you can have up to 10 hunters.
Which makes 15 hunters in total until a hunter needs to be replaced.
I could... but my slots are filled with lvl 50 chars I want to keep because of the looks :)

Agreed, and I wonder why is it exactly 4 slots only? We can have up to 10 for bounty hunt.
I guess cause its a tacked on mode without further thinking
Just like... Other things
Learned the hard way today that there is a maximum number of soul survivors you can keep- lost my highest level one :( So i support this idea.
Why not just get them and immediately retire them?

Because there is no way to know beforehand if your next soul survivor will end up better than the ones you currently have.
Should let us buy more Soul Survivor slots with Blood Bonds like you can with regular hunters.
..or ...OR .. just play your level 50 hunter until they get killed .. and then level up another guy/gal? .. why horde hunters? But!! ..that's the beauty of this game .. you can play it however you want to play it!

... But!! .. having 14 hunters I think is plenty to choose from .. maybe they'll ad a "Retired Hunters Hall of Fame" room you can go into and gawk at their stats/achievements/sexiness ... :steamhappy:

Sadly, once you hire a soul survivor from quick-play, you cannot retire him usually. I never had a soul survivor reach even level 15. The highest for me was 13 or 14.

You could hire the one you don't like and then dismiss that hunter but that doesn't make much sense. You might as well just play with that hunter for the next bounty hunt.

You can dismiss them to open a slot.
