Keys not doing anything...

This bug happened to me once or twice in the beta.. not sure why. Restarting my game fixes it but jesus it's annoying..

Random keys work like Space Bar, Shift, CTRL, etc.

W, A, S, D, C (Rebound for crouch, but CTRL works still/And spacebar), R, 1, 2, 3, and 4 do not work at all.
Mouse keys work just fine, spamming SHIFT makes the other keys work that I also have to spam
(I.E: Spam Shift, and spam W like 5 times for the game to register I want to walk forward.)
No controller is plugged in, specs are on my profile. (More than enough for this game)

It's not consistent by any means. Like I said I had this happen once or twice, this being the third.
Now this is the fourth time it's happened. Starting to get really annoying.

Something similar like this happened to me once. I couldn't zoom in to shoot.

I can't remember what happened but it was a combination of me getting killed and revived and aiming.

Something goofed up and prevented me from aiming.

Yours does it just outta nowhere?

At the start of the match I try to walk or do anything in the keys I listed above (Forgot 1, "E"), luckily I spawned next to an extract everytime.

I restart the game then it's fine, never happens again. Until of course, it does... but it's not common.

@Ghosti, Have you tried using a different keyboard to see if it still happens? That's not putting the blame on the keyboard or anything, more just to clarify if its something that happens regardless of the keyboard you are using (could be driver related, windows related or game related so testing another keyboard could potentially help to narrow it down). I have seen some reports on this in the past (only a handful really in quite a few months) but I was unable to get any extra info on it from them.

Could you try it if possible and let me know how you get on?

Yeah I have, problem still happened eventually. Even plugged in a controller I think the first time and nothing happened, but that could be because it wasn't plugged in before start up.

Peripherals I use(d)
I'm using a Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 - Only a year or 2 old.
I also tried an older Razer Blackwidow BF4 Edition. It's rather old but no problems with it.
Xbox One Controller, if I did try it.

I've got a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth and never experienced the issue you're having.

Can you try a different USB port?

Another possible solution: one of my friend had a problem with his PC that it tried to shut down USB ports from time to time to save power. It took a while until he found this. So check your Windows Power settings. There is a USB Selective Suspend Setting and you can try to turn it off.

I tabbed out and every key worked perfectly. I mean I typed that entire thing up while the game was having the issue even lmao.
Only this game does it, but I can try different a port next time.

Yeah, I'm 99% convinced it's just a bug with the game. I have no doubts about my hardware or drivers/software/etc.

Yup literally just happened again. It's getting to be every login now after I don't play the game for awhile it seems like.

I changed USB Ports, tried 3.0 and normal. Nothing.

It's not my PC, I just got off GTAV/SoT/Tarkov play sessions and had ZERO issues.
This game, and this game ONLY has issues with this, and seeing how I'm not the only one, it's not us. I'm not mad or anything, just.. don't go on about my rig when I know it's not.
I know PC's and games very well.

I have an aiming issue as well. I'll hold Mouse 2 for Hip Fire, then I hold Mouse 3 (bound to = for ADS) and my character will just freak out and constantly go from ADS, to hipfire, to not aiming at all. Even though i'm holding the buttons down, it just keeps spazzing out.

Overclocking? .. PC specs? any RAM tweaks? I had random weirdness on my wifes setup when I would run 4 sticks of RAM (Ryzen 2200g) .. fine with 2 sticks... upgraded her to a 3400g and she can run 4 sticks now without issue.. I only mention it because she would have random weird things happen that didn't make any sense.

Maybe something to look at .. maybe not .. when everything else runs "fine" with system tweaks .. Hunt won't always cooperate

..ah, took a peek at your specs on your profile. I run the same ASUS monitor .. and it's running at 2k resolution. And my secondary monitor is an Acer 1080p something.

Oculus plugged in when your keyboard acts up? .. have you tried running just 2 sticks of ram and see if keyboard controls go goofy?
