I would have to strongly disagree.
Against an experienced sniper there is hardly any difference and what you said with flanking and AI is still very viable. Just my opinion.
Run and gun has been popular for a long time. Not everyone plays that way and it is in no way superior.
Sorry, but this is just not true.
At the very start, guns were deadlier, and headshots weren't necessary.
Once everyone started with the same HP, headshots started to become the best way to put someone down effectively.
After that update, it was just a game of who can pop the weasel first.
To say headshots were rare is just...wrong
