The game kind of loses immersion with 75% of the available characters being female. Why oh why does politically correctness have to creep into everything we love?

Let's forget for a minute that the requested state is just how it was in EA and nobody was complaining back then. For arguments sake: what would be the problem to give the player full autonomy on how he wants his roster to look like? You need to be taught in a politically correct manner by a pc game or something? Where is your dignity?

So we're arguing about crytek putting too many female hunters in an in-game universe of a game that a crytek made? Even though female hunters were in fact requested multiple times?

So what if you can pick your gender and race? Or tattoos? Or eyepatches? I'd choose dark skinned every time for added camouflage.

Sometimes all of my choices are female. It does seem like more than 50%. But I don't care enough to complain.

The "hardcoooore" community is a bunch of babies like most guntoting "anti-PC" people who imagine games as murder/survivalsims, who would've thought?

The only legit issues that we have are poor optimization, way to easy to land headshots due to low weaponsay and laseraccurate guns and rubberbanding on US servers

i mean it is pointless because your hunters gender doesnt change anything significant about the gameplay... just pick your favorite legendary hunter and you will always get the gender you want.... and calling me a hack AGAIN.... so clever lmao

maybe because legendary hunters are trash? 333$ for a character with no traits? why not pick a freaking tier 3 with traits and so you have more points to spend for more traits? Imao even tier 2 is better with 2 traits you save point by having good traits... what is the point of these so called legendary hunters? they are trash!!!

I agree, they should cost maybe 50-100 bucks, I spend money on skins to be able to use them. not so that I have a disadvantage.

It’s just that people want the choice to be able to pick what gender they want it’s only natural. They do need to fix the randomness though. There are times that I get all females I don’t think it’s a big deal but people want what they want. I myself prefer to play the male hunters just my preference ya know.

I dont see the deal here. Pick one or dont.
Its random, which is why it may be that there might only be one or none of any gender.
But i dont see why anyone would spend time "balancing" this non-issue.
The existence of this thread alone is just a waste of attention and energy.
I said my part, the OP already began with several flaws, there is no issue to be had.
Its not about preference at all.
You have your choices and options. Thats it, deal with it.
Its like someone enters the Tomb Raider forum claiming its political correctness that there had to be a female protagonist and then the next coming in asking for an optional male protagonist to choose.

I understand not wanting an army of black people fighting for nazi germany in Battlefield. (yes I am aware there were black people fighting for nazi germany... but it was not even close to the majority...and yes I'm aware that battlefield dosnt want to simulate past wars exactly) I understand not wanting woman in certain real scenarios in other games also.

I dont understand the problem with female in a bloodline of hunters in a fantasy game unless the lore clearly indicates females cant be hunters... in this case it woud be tarded.

Thinking female characters shoudnt be in a fantasy game just cause your male fantasy of cowboys dosnt like that is the same level of tardnes which the guys(or mostly girls) bring to the table which want females in games with settings they simply dosnt belong into.
