Hunt: Showdown 1896

Hunt: Showdown 1896

aim training software?
Quickplay matches take too long to queue up to practice.
Does anyone know any games like aim lab that have the settings for Hunt?
I saw the workshop entry in KovaaK's FPS Aim Trainer but it's the most expensive of the bunch.

I found only one preset for Hunt...and only for winfield. And I do not think what it correct emulates Hunt PvP gameplay=C
I hope devs can add mode (TDM), so everyone can practice there.

Thank you for the heads up Amur.

I warm up with a game of "Fistful of Frags"

Well, all you need is to get used to weapon sway.
After it, use any aim trainer. I use aim400kg.

All you need is to find a real shooter game, and stick with it lol.

Not a very helpful comment but I use a silenced weapon and shoot every grunt and hive I see.

They are releasing a target range later down the line.

Maybe it's obvious, but mouse sensitivity is important. I like to have mine set quite fast when not aiming, bit more moderate in the first stage of aiming and slower when I'm in iron sight, not to mention sniper scope.

Playing around with that now. I think my dpi was too high at 1600 but the default lowest is 800. I'll see if that helps.

Just shoot everything if u want to aim better. There is very few sway in hunt atm so aiming isnt hard

Devs should just add a training/deathmatch mode to be used to gunfights... I am training on Call of Juarez Gunslinger right now lol

This is interesting. People playing other games so they can play Hunt!
Just play Hunt. Pick a weapon and stick with it. You will get the hang of it. Just about 1100 hrs in and I still stink at aiming! 😂
But, I get better every day :hunterprofile:

There is no point in playing Fistful of Frags or Call of Juarez, not to mention one of those uses hitscan weapons.

Just play Hunt and stick to one weapon. For me it was the Winfield before it got nerfed. It is still decent at close range, but if I had to learn again, I would take Sparks.

Thanks for this wonderful advice, but monsters are too static to be a good training. And training on them is the best way to get shot by other players...
