After update error... Huntshowdown.exe

Hi,
a minute ago i made update. Any time i try again or check files i got the same info... huntshowdown.exe is damaged or deleted.

verify file integrity through steam. probably file got corrupted during the update

try deleting the file manually and then run file verification again. it should spot the missing file and redownload it.

there is no HuntGame.exe in folder. verified again and no results...

in what folder are you looking in? huntgame.exe is located in steamapps>common>hunt showdown>bin>win_x64

if that doesnt fix it or you still cant find the file maybe you should try re installing the game

Check your anti virus software. I had the same issue because Avast moved the file into the virus container. Add an exception for huntgame.exe or turn off AV and verify the game files.

Yo Harry I just wanted to tell you that I love you man. That actually worked and I can start the game again, I've been looking for 2 days now and nothing worked and then suddenly I came up to this thread here. God bless man I fcking love you dude! Would like to thank this man as this just help me with my kaspersky after the most recent update. Took a bit of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with to get it to work but it did work. o7
