I play this triology from the beginning and now I have to get out my frustration... This game needs updates every week because the publisher have to fix something after every dlc or the preupdate and they steel your livingtime and make you very angry if you just wanna play with a friend a session. BECAUSE the Updates are sometimes just 100 mb, but it needs time like installing a whole new game. If you have 92.3 MB it means nothing. Also they can make really good introductionvideos, but if you win or loose a campaign it feels like "thank you for nothing", there is just popping up a little window with "you have won the campaign". Or if you play a competitive multiplayergame with a friend and you playing sneaky fractions or it is a disadvantage if your opponent knows where your cities already are, then you will be really happy about saving a game, starting battles or loading a new multiplayercampaign. Always the possibility for your opponent to see where you are and how strong you are. Its like playing poker with open cards. At the end I would wish there would be an option at starting a campaign where you could choose between two different mode: Mode 1 the units are limitated depending on the quantity and quality of your military buildings or the Mode 2 like now where there are no limitations. I would prefer mode 1 because at the lategame the armies are to homogene and too strong. To be able to compete you have to recruit basicly armies of your one best unit of your unitroster. A limitation would make the endgame more tactical and interesting.

Rebuilding steam library fixed it for me but not for my mates.

+crashes on boot

Anyone else having issues as Vampire Lords after 1.11.1? often get crashes, when the game tries to load a battle. and on the quest-battles it is exquisitely annoying. "teleport to battle. sue? yes! manual-fight"->crash. every friggin time. the other battle-load-crashes you can work-around with autobattle, if you can win them. but what the heck am I to do with questbattles? ignore sweet sweet uber-items? meh!

The download keeps getting stuck. PLEASE FIX MY ALREADY WORKING GAME.

It is not stuck, but it takes really a long time to install.

Guys, verify your files and disable all mods, then load the game. It should work...

You can readd your mods later.

Battle crashes may be caused by old saves. Clear the folder out and should be ok. This I have done a few times in the past to get it working.

I have noticed though, that the game seems to want to crash at times but won't, thankfully...

I have checked background processes running and everything.

It works though, so ok waiting for next update/DLC.

Maybe there will be a quick hotfix soon.

I have the bad feeling the game is scanning my whole computer at each update, which bring me zero trust in the developers and seriously question whether I'll buy another game/dlc from you. ( probably not, bored by more and more video game companies actions. )

I seriously doubt that. The implications of it would be devastating for CA. Many old school PC buffs play this game and they would have found any issue already.
