I'm thinking it's a good thing that CA focuses on updating existing gameplay before doing more DLC factions.

One thing I would love to see is customizable factions, i.e. making your own faction within a race. For example, choosing Vampire Counts, then custom faction in a drop-down menu, let's you make a custom Legendary Lord, choose colour scheme, some bonuses, etc. You could start out in Waldenhof (which would provide a challenge), and if you don't choose a custom faction, the map would default to its current state. After all, one of the most satisfying parts of the tabletop version of Warhammer is creating your own faction.

@Atrophy Yeah I wish updates were optional. I've had several campaigns ruined as well. Updates and fixes are good and all, but we should be given the choice of postponing updates if we want to.

Any chance some of these updates can come over to Total War Warhammer 1. I get why you want to focus but needing to buy both games so you can play fully updated Vampire Counts with blood kisses for example is a little nuts especially for newer players, speaking as a new player who got both games because saving for months horray.

Takes 400 hours to apply an 80 mb patch. Nice not very smart people huh?
When does the patch come out of beta? you know i would like to play my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game already without the threat of a broken save.

F*** you CA - three months after the release Vampire Coast dlc for WII game crashes everytime I try to destroy the Vampire Coast, this beta patch deleted 25 (of 40) skill points...this was the last game or dlc what i paid. Goodbye.

Another thing I would love to see is loadout options for lords, i.e. the option to choose what kind of weapon(s) and armour my lords will use in combat. For example, as cool as they are, a male Dreadlord will always be equipped with a sword and a crossbow, but what if I want to make him a melee fighter? Or what if I want a High Elf princess to go all out with a greatsword? There's no option for that, probably due to the amount of work it would take to make every individual model. But if you consider the amount of work it probably takes to create a whole new faction, the truly customisable lords and heroes would be relatively simple. And it would be a truly wonderful addition for an immersive game.

I'm glad that I have some pre-vampirate savegames to screw around with. I can't stand playing a bugged, broken campaign.

All the people complaining about Festag having only one T, that is correct. In Warhammer lore, it is written with one T. It's based on German, doesn't mean it needs to be actual German.

It's part of the Imperial calendar:
