Is there any hero limitation?

do you get any new replacements for dead heroes? Or you can lose everyone without possibility to recruit and level new ones? thx

New ones whenever you want or a turn later.

You have a hero capacity (usualy increased by the building you recruit the heroes from) for each type of hero. So you can only have heroes up until capacity is full. If a hero is wounded he still counts for that limit and will come back after a set amount of turns. If a hero dies permanently he wont return and his capacity slot becomes free again for you to recruit a new hero.

Why would you not be able to recruit new ones?

Hero capacity isn't taken up by heroes you no longer have.

So the heroes can not be exhausted. There will always be new ones to be recruited

But you are limited on how many you can recruit per turn/per settlement.
