Dx11 or dx12?

Just saw here was a beta thingy.

Anyone tried it yet and if yes, hows performance difference?

Usually people say DX12 gets worse performance.

I've seen a very good increase in performance with Dx12 on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, easily 100% fps increase.

So just wondering if that goes for WH2 as well.

As I said, in WH2 it usually doesn't go well. But some people say they had a boost.

It depends on the graphic card people use.If you are using a graphic card that use Turing architecture,like the new RTX card and GTX 1660,GTX1660TI,you will be likely to get a boost cuz Turing is designed for DX12 and got worse performance on DX11 than DX12.So choose by checking what graphic card you use to get better performance.
If you r using GTX10xx or 9xx,don't hesitate DX11 is likely to get better performance.

Well i got a GTX1660TI and run the benmark just now.
I did the Battle benmark and got 71FPS on DX11,61FPS on DX12....that's strange cuz i do get better FPS on DX12 in SOTTR too

That's odd. Especially because like, Shadow I had 30fps in the benchmark on dx11 and got 60+fps on the dx12 benchmark.

I might give it a shot on dx12 just to see what it does for performance.

Using a 390x or vega64 dx12 runs about 20% better then dx11 but dx12 does load about 10% slower on world map. Using 780ti dx11 runs well but cant get dx12 to work but timespy benchmark works fine.
