Taurox is insane
So i just completed my first ME campaign with taurox on VH / VH. it was a breeze. I won it i think before turn 80, not optimizing anything just messing round.

I pretty much razed the west continent and lothern with ease, i hardly had to fight any battles just auto battle everything and I just won easily. Does anyone think he is maybe a little too strong ?

Yeah, his auto-resolve is strong as hell. I also finished it by auto-resolving almost eveything.

No wonderrrrr people finish so quickly.
I think some factions can just insta-raise near enough a full stack is op. Same thing happens with pirates, raise dead etc
Well every race is op eventually only difference is Taurox has no upkeep fee, and can move wherever he wants with no worries or fears about the ai attacking his settlements.

Even if a herdstone does get attacked its garrison is really good in the hands of the player and most of the time the ai ignores it unless you put it somewhere that they don't like. I.E shrine of kain

Hm. I wonder, what the sword of kain does to horde-factions, (except of Nacai). There is no PO, and all (pure) horde-factions don't need to bother with allies... So the negatives of the sword are pretty much dissolved... And for BM there even isn't upkeep, (afair, this is also a negtive of the sword, if you continue to wield it...)

Recently updated race is too strong? That is unheard of!

Yup, I'm in turn 30 and have no fear of anybody in the game. I've got 3 stacks of 20 units, including 2 legendary lords, and end game units already in those stacks. It's crazy. And to think I botched the first 12-15 turns because I wasn't sure how the new mechanics worked.

My herdstones have had a garrison of 20 or so good units since turn 21. Imagine that for any other race, having a garrison that good, that early. Plus the location is really helpful for him to pick up speed.

Taurox is the easiest campaign in the game...

Good! If the next begginer thread about the easiest faction comes, we can point to taurox.

No. I would still recommend Tyrion for new players.
High Elves are good at everything, donut is super easy starting location becouse you are surrounded by allies, HE are super rich even without cheesing, everybody likes them on the map.

Taurox is easy becouse he himself is insanely OP and his mechanic is also insanely OP + Beastmen as a faction cannot lose a campaign. They don't care about difficulty becouse they don't pay upkeep, they don't care about public order, they don't care about diplomacy and the more enemies they have the better for them.

I like Taurox campaign but it's incredibly easy even on legendary

Taurox is probably a good faction to underscore the issues with the difficulty of this game. As mentioned above, difficulty is tied to PO / Diplomacy issues / Supply line costs causing you to try and keep up with Snowballing AI factions on harder difficulties....

Hopefully there is more to it in WH3

Well said, but there's Taurox-specific stuff to nerf as well.

Full Geared 40 lvl Taurox with sword of cain no need army. I hide army most of time and let him fight alone. I was useing army only during vs 2-3 stacks battles. Compared to dwarfs vs orcs early camp was a brezze.
