1v1 are useless when talking about singleplayer. 95% of the playerbase doesn't give ♥♥♥♥♥ about multiplayer
Basically, all of this.
Like strongest lord, no way. As the quote says, even among BM I'd probably rather have Malagor simply for the ridiculous magic there... in contrast, Taurox even seems a bit weak.
Strongest *faction*, very possibly. Eshin's mechanics I'd say might be slightly better, because again going back to the quote, they can basically delete a faction. But beyond what the quote says, Skaven innately (for all Skaven, not just Eshin) have the ability to use food to insta-Tier-5-settle-or-conquer major settlements. So Eshin, when you also factor in the way the food mechanics work, is probably the strongest faction in the game campaign-wise. You can really, really break the meta as Skaven because jumping up to Tier 5 early gets you to advanced units way before you would get there as any other faction.
To quote geebs91, "Thats some prime wagyu beef right there"
That said, Malagor can do wonders with flock of doom leveled up.
He's a "send him in, forget about him" lord. Not requiring much micromanagement to do good with him.
Compared to say, Oxyotl, who is a far stronger lord, but needs to be micromanaged.
As a BM lord, I'd actually put Taurox only above Khazrak, but I've not truly checked old one eye, he might be better overal due to being a chariot character.
I haven't played skaven for a long time though, so I am not sure if I will have to preface that with eshin + a skaven summoning build now after reading above.
Battle of the bigggg boiz
I just tried the Turin test in the lab. 3 stripped down wargors on tuskgor chariots (900 gold per) vs 4 blood knights. The chariots styled all over the knights. I think they might still be over performing.
I'm gonna level up Khaz and see if I can make him a 1 man doomstack without the SoK.
Thing is, anyone can RAZE the Shrine and the swords get's teleported back to the shrine untill someone (that has to be an elf) rebuilds it. And since Khaine has dumb gigantic FACTION WIDE penalties for a weapon that ONLY empowers one dude in an FACTION vs FACTION game... ;p
What? The beastmen aren't affected by any of the negatives that come with Sword of Khaine, you can't go wrong with using it.
