House rules usually work best. Like, only autoresolve when odds are 4:1 or something is clearly not being read properly by the AI.
Nearly killed all fun ever have with all TW games by getting in that same rut, and this mod saved me too.
Even if the odds are almost even in it. At times you just want to get over something and be done with it.
Like say you're not in the mood to micromananage your army constantly. Waiting for that stupid Warpbomb the skaven get with a Walled settlement region.
Not to mention, you have a plan in your head, but not that much time to put it in place if you fought a 20 minute battle. There's so many variables that dictates if I take a autoresolve gamble or not.
