Be in the low thousands I guess somewhere between 2 - 4 thousand, could easily be more.
Are you really saying you’ve played THREE YEARS of Warhammer TW?
28,000 hours = 1,166 days = 3 years
You can’t be serious…
What I can say for sure is the earlier titles, up to Shogun 2 got the lions share of hours in... with the first four the most again of those.
Medieval 2 I know I did upwards of a thousand hours vanilla, same again in TATW mod, and was still playing that like it was sliced bread's successor in 2012 (it's certainly my most played game ever, seconded only by Company of Heroes 1 which I was also playing hard 6 years after launch) Medieval 1 also played still after Rome 1 launched and 1000 hours easily. Rome 1 was still getting time in by 2010.
No other games/IP's, even series taken as a whole, have come close to that early/old madness and love... not even TW games since Shogun 2. Different times though, while I had significantly lesser hardware then (even comparatively) the games still ran well, I was younger and had less going on irl etc.
Warhammer 2 : 12000 hours
Warhammer 3 : 100 hours.
Across all Steam TW games I have maybe 2,000 hours between Empire and Warhammer 3. You could possibly add another…500 - 600 hours on that if we’re going back and counting Shogun to Medieval 2.
My single most played game is Skyrim coming in at 750 hours played between 2011 and 2017-18.
Gaming has been an enjoyment of mine for like 20 years now and probably if I had to wager how much total time I’ve spent playing games in my life it might be between 20,000 and 40,000 hours.
I don’t understand how it’s even possible that some of you are clocking between that in a single game/series in less than a decade.
Do you not sleep? Eat? Go to school? Work? Go on vacation? Have families? Friends? Ever leave your room? Have any responsibilities at all?
Ya’ll are either greatly exaggerating your playtimes or you need to step back and take a good look at your lives.
